Red Arrows - oh dear
Looks like a Red Arrow has crashed at the Bournmouth airshow. Let`s hope he/she is OK. The coastguard has been involved. Maybe it went into the sea.

Whoever above said let's hope health and safety bods don't get their hands on it should be truely ashamed of themselves. If there is something behind this increased number of accidents it needs to be found before a jet crashes into a crowd

Considering no one knows how the crash occured I don't think anyone can jump to conclusions about safety. It's a terrible thing that has happened but the Red Arrows are a British icon that I personally am very proud of. Millions of people love to watch them and why shouldn't they be able to show off the skills that one day you might call upon to defend you.
Albags, one of the things i loved about airshows was the closeness of the aircraft coming out of the blue, now as some have said they are kept well back from the crowd, and do feel sad that anyone gets hurt or killed in these displays. I remember the pilot who died whilst flying a Lightning, i think it was, a brilliant display, but the man was killed the following day at the same airshow. Fond memories of Duxford, and of other air shows.
