Muslim only day at Alton towers

I did intend to ask for you thoughts on the Muslim only day at Alton towers and how that was supposed to aid integration.
Then I saw the other threads and decided I don't blame them for wanting to keep themselves to themselves.
Bit like the Jewish man on the itv programme a few weeks back when asked when their community kept itself away from the rest of the outside world
Something like well the outside world has not been good to us

If it's a day when the ladies can let their hair down without fear of being told of by the more extreme of their menfolk, then I've got no problem with it. Same as ladies' only swimming.

So, it states in that link .. 'The day is open to all faiths, though muslim laws would apply. I don't know, it all seems a bit misguided to me & has been already said in the link by fellow muslims .. 'Hardly encourages intergration'

IN 2006 a group that happens to be Muslim hired the park but dropped it due to lack of interest. Anyone can hire the park if they pay. Christians, Muslims, Hare Khrishnas, Trainspotters, Swingers, Martian or Chinese. This non-story needs to go away.
