Oh Dear, What a Pity, Nevermind. The whole business reeked of self-interest and, given the Werrity business cards, and then the meetings in Dubai with company CEOs with defence stuff to flog, in the absence of MoD staff and completely ignoring the normal procurement policy, it seems inevitable to me that he should go.

Can anyone remember the last time a minister from any party held up his hand and basically said, yep, its a fair cop guv, I resign? Alan Clarke maybe? None seem to demonstrate any honour anymore.......

How is it that the Tories seem to sack anyone who misbehaves in some way, yet Labour hang onto their members no matter what they have done?
