It certainly was not justice in my understanding of the term - he should have stood trial, with all the embarassment for Western leaders who have aided his regime when it suited them.
Any capture, other than by Nato troops, was going to result in Gaddafi's death. The rebels hate him with a passion that is frankly alien to the British psyche - he should be grateful that he wasn't torn limb from limb.
So a lot of embarassing revalations for Western leaders are lost - and hopefully the Libyans will be able to pick up the pieces of their shattered country and rebuild it. Let's hope so.
