Am i the only one that thinks there's a lack of public toilets in the uk?
Train, tube stations everywhere is lacking.
In this time of more people, longer queues and especially more alcohol, shouldn't we have many more toilets on every corner?
I'd be more than happy to pay a pound or two extra taxes to help with maintainence and if this was asked from everyone in this country this would be very viable.
Do you agree we need more toilets here?

They also run a "Use Our Loo community toilet scheme" where establishments with loos are encouraged to make them available for the public.

Morgan you don't even know where I live! It could be the public toilet capital or Britain!
I've never seen a queue outside of a public toilet, nor have I seen anyone with a widdle-stained crotch, which suggests there's enough. In town centres there's plenty of cafes, bars etc or specific publi toilets. In the villages, where I know there were public toilets, there's cafes etc that people can use. I can't think of anywhere around here where you'd struggle to find access to a public toilet unless you're in the middle of a residential estate.

In Scotland now they are doing a deal with local businesses e.g. pubs/cafes and shops where they get some deal on their rates or something if they make their toilets available for public use and they need to put a sticker in their window. Seems ideal solution to me. Plenty of accesss to toilets and no need to run freezing cold public facilities.
only go to manchester if you have a good bladder and prostate

There's one set of public (council maintained) public toilets in our town that are free; there is another set which need to be paid for and another which is owned by the shopping centre in which they are housed. There are 3 toilets in the free public ones which seems ridiculous for a town of our size; there used to be others but they've been shut due to misuse for years.
