no, and don't know.
The NHS will do implants for women who have had mastectomies due to breast cancer. I definitely wouldn't call that vanity!
daffy agree on that score, but nothing else.

do they do them for vanity too?
Exactly.
I bet if you had a tiny penis and people judged you and laughed at you because of it you would be crying for the NHS to fund an enlargement operation.

I don't agree with cosmetic boob jobs on the NHS by the way, only reconstructions.
Some NHS trusts do cosmetic implants if the 'patient' can prove they need them for psychological reasons, that I have never agreed with, the same goes for sex change operations and IVF.
Like Daffy says, not all boobs jobs are done for vanity - many are done for reconstruction after breast cancer.
if they are responsible for putting them in, then yes they should pay to get them out...
The NHS pays to heal existing health issues. Or to correct what it has messed up. It would be an act of charity to use our money to pay for correcting privately funded cosmetic surgery that is not presently causing ill health. It's not what the NHS is funded for. The only reason it might contemplate funding removals is if it could show it would save money in the long run.
Just to want a bigger bust is vanity and is done privatly I should think. But if the woman is in danger from leaking implants then the NHS can't just turn their back on them, I dont think anybody should be allowed to have them for purely cosmetic reasons after this problem.
