I can't work out whether I'm shocked or unsurprised by this number!

Does this amount of migrants claiming benefits raise cause for concern?

Chris Grayling - all that money? I don't think £136 is all that much... get your facts right.

Sp is mostly right in my experience of those people who came from the West Indies in the 1950's and after, it does seem though that their work ethic hasn't filtered down through the generations. In the 1970's i was dating a black guy, and he like his mates all worked. Having come from the west indies due to lack of work in Jamaica, Barbados etc. All the ones i knew had jobs to come to or found one on arrival. Sadly their work ethic didn't always translate to supporting, or looking after the many children they produced with wives, and girlfriends. Sorry if that seems a bit callous and a generalisation, i can only go on my own experiences. The result of that casual attitude left many women and girls with babies but no dad.
And there wasn't a CSA, and no shame seemingly at having children out of wedlock. I only highlight this as a way of showing that this has had a knock on affect down the generations.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
first of all let me apologise to venator then to anybody who was upset by what i posted. when reading my posts try to imagine it being said by someone in the pub in a jocular way.
it was never my intention to upset anyone and i hope venator will accept my apology and carry on posting on this site
a few people have left this site and i miss there posts i hope venator will come back and start posting again .
