What is it about the left have they lost the very little sense of humour they may have once had?

Perhaps this Labour MP should now exert her position as Labour's equalities spokesperson, and try and get those TV commercials that are demeaning to men, also banned?

"Should this beer had been outlawed?"

yes. easy to change the name.
It shouldn't be outlawed but I think serving it in such an establishment and not to expect some form of reaction is pushing one's luck a little.
No.

If men and women did not find each other attractive, the human race would die out.

Then where would we be !!
««TV commercials that are demeaning to men»»

Examples please.
Just more PC appeasement. But one ought not be surprised in a place that should try to keep itself squeaky clean. Maybe they should get a strong dark beer to go next to it and call it "Top Beefcake" ? Or better still maybe consider if they need bars at their place of work at all.
Oh please... lots of beers have slightly iffy names
there are more important issues to deal with genuine inequalities in the workplace, and wider society... sorry I think she was just trying to make a point for the sake of it...
No. Not quite sure it's been "outlawed" though... just "not served"?

More important question, has anyone tried it and is it any good?
No but the company are probably rubbing their handss with glee as there will be people looking out for it now.. Great publicity of the sort you just can't buy
Great publicity, indeed!
No, as OG has said, you could easily have an equivalent, and dodgy names are part of the business.
It looks like that fizzy lager stuff, harsh as hell!!
Kate Green is bedwettingly pathetic.

Anybody who is offended or upset or a little bit weepy about something as irrelevant as this is pathetic.
She saw a soft chance to score some I'm more PC than thou points with her party...
pathetic
quite right ed, my mistake. it was withdrawn because of the imagery.

"Commons Leader Sir George Young said "appropriate action should be taken" if "offensive pictures" were on show."

the beer has been a finalist in the national beer awards.
you think that's a funny beer? No way I'd serve it in my house.

If other people are inspired to rush out and buy it because of this news story, good luck to them. But if you have to use sex to sell beer (or cars or newspapers or whatever) it's a sure sign the product isn't good enough.
i think it smacks of 'private gentlemans club' which i suppose parliament probably is, but shouldn't be.
No If its so "offensive" why wasn't Harry Enfield censored for using the term?

This country is just making it self a joke, there are real PC issues to be addressed in this country - Racisim, sexism etc.

The name of a beer is none of them.
It could be a lot worse.
I remember hearing about a pub which brewed its own cider, which was named after the pub. It was banned from using the name.
What is so bad about that, I hear you ask ?

Err... "Whippet Inn Cider" ?
