As soon as you suggest that trt, they will start shouting about Human Rights. Which is all very well if they can pay for them, but in the meantime Income Tax, which incidentally I resent paying at my age, is what is going to be used to pay for all of it. A simple operation to stop any more should be compulsory after the first five or so. That should be enought for anyone. Alternatively, send him round here I'm sure I can find a couple of bricks.
Don't tell this to the people here on Monday who were saying life was tough on benefits. I know a family of leeches like this near me too. They live better than I do.
When is Cameron or any of the other timewasters running the county going to wise up to this and stop child benefit beyond child number 2? Two should be enough for anyone!!
Don't get me started on Income Tax, Starbuck. My pension is more that the 'cutoff' point, which means that for every £1 I get above that figure (which incidentally I worked damned hard for, for 40 years) I pay 50p tax. This means that for some of my income I pay a 50% tax rate! Peoplein emplyment don't reach that level until they ears somewhat more!!
I pay 50p income tax-it's a problem I'm happy to have to be honest, but yes I do agree that nine children is excessive if you have no intention of supporting them yourself.
exactly why 'the cuts' are needed. Just imagine all them kids growing up thinking this is the way to go, they each have god knows how many kids etc etc. Certain government ministers in the last 15 years have got a lot to answer for in not getting to grips with this.
have they heard of contraception!......maybe!......but no need, cos we are paying for all of their offspring!......if they had to support them all, then maybe they wouldn't have so many!........
would it be so revolutionally in these days of birth control to suggest that if you have children you are responsible for their keep and that you should NOT get any help from the state at all. then you can have as many as you want from one upwards to whatever is your limit. BUT you are responsible.
no maybe about it welsh
He is actually working although admittedly not earning what I think would be enough for 9 children. But he's working which is a good thing. I do think 9 children you can not financially support is excessive though. Although that said my dad is from a family of 15 (northern irish catholic so not unusual to have a big brood) and I dare say times were a lot harder in many ways for him so I guess it can be done.
Human rights are very important. Humans have a right to be on a planet that isn't overpopulated by the offspring of selfish folk who can not control their breeding urges.

Even if you can support the offspring you want to have, it isn't fair on everyone else for everyone to have more than the planet can comfortably cope with. Wealth is no free pass to ignore others' human rights.
Unfortunately the kids would be the ones that suffered, not the irresponsible parents.
I personally think 9 children is excessive (from a love and care point of view - obviously you shouldn't have that many if you can't afford to look after them), but what is an acceptable cut-off point?
when she gets fed up and produces the scissors, preferably pinking ones.....
When you and your partner die just 2 people leave this world. Cut off point ? So how many kids are a couple morally entitled to consider if the population isn't going to get even higher and more problematic ?
My apologies OG, didn't realise you were in charge. So, how are you going to enforce you two child limit?

Sorry trt for going off at a bit of a tangent.
Wasn't it China who limited the number of kids to just one?
I don't think it's quantity so much as quality of person- and by that I don't mean class OG. I think if a couple bring their one child up with no compassion thought and respect for other people and for the planet then that is far more of a problem than someone who brings their 6 children up to do all of those things.
One doesn't need to be in charge to point out the blatantly obvious.
Am I in charge if I point out the sky is blue ? Do I have to say how I will enforce the sky being blue ?

Quality is all very well but when you have a quantity problem that is your urgent factor.
There are too many people in the world, full stop. These irresponsible people are too thick to realize that they are adding to the problem. I have no doubt that their large family has something to do with religion. The man doesn't have to have them, does he? He loves his wife so much that he will put her through that agony 10 times.
I agree with David Attenborough and the late Graham Chapman. Three children is enough and if they want more, no more child benefit and they should be taxed. Why should other people have to pay for their uneducated folly?
