There have been many arguments for and against the need for gays to get 'married', but according to this gay MP homosexual marriage is just "pure politics", and they don't need to get married.
/// homosexuals had already won equal rights with the introduction of civil partnerships and had "never needed the word
'marriage' ". ///

On another thread on the same subject recently, I made repeated requests for people who object to this to tell me why, and to tell me what effect this would have upon their own lives – but to no avail.
Rov has given his reasons - //The bible is totally against it. Muslims are dead set aginst it!// …
… but to the non-religious, that means absolutely nothing, so in their view, it isn’t a valid reason.
Any offers?//
Perhaps there is a genetic predisposition for this seemingly insatiable interest some people appear to have in how certain couples choose to define their relationships and express their affections towards one another. Perhaps the reason they find themselves inclined to poke their nose into other peoples jeans lies . . . in their own.

To try and change attitudes according to their website. Still a lot of nastiness from people living in the stone ages.

can you explain to a little child about someone's sexual preferences, no of course not, that would be later on when they are a bit older. As i said i don't care what people's preferences are, but quite honestly i don't see the need to have it advertised all over the London buses. There have been campaigns from other groups in recent months, Christians for one, and Muslims another, as though by sticking a sign up on a bus is going to make it all right and acceptable to some don't find it so, no matter how many banners you stick up.
