All the talk about benefit to the Nation is complete rot. The rights are so tightly controlled, you will not be allowed to benefit unless you are a main sponsor.
I was therefore amused to see that, although Adidas have paid £100m to be a sponsor, a Twitter poll revealed that the brand the public most associate with the Olympics is Nike (who are not a sponsor).

It would be mischievous and inappropriate to keep printing the words NIKE and OLYMPICS together.
It might reinforce the mistaken belief that NIKE are an OLYMPIC SPONSOR.
This would undermine the efforts to exclude non sponsors, and small businesses.
So remember, NIKE aren't an OLYMPIC SPONSOR.
NIKE don't use the OLYMPIC LOGO.
When you see OLYMPICS, don't THINK NIKE.
