Don't knoe anne, say something rude and find out ;-)
Ab Editor never sleeps...
not sure about all night but deffo in the early hours. I was attacked really nastily at 6am one morning...not a joke i mean real horrible stuff, I reported it and it was pulled within a minute of m report.
I believe that they are nocturnal - with a heightened sense of moral responsibility....

thats not nice woof :(
As Moderators are regular AB users then it's safe to assume they are 'on duty' at any given time during the day or night.

I know B00 shuffles along the AB hallways dressed as a vampire during the wee hours...
I've often wondered how they divvy it up between them, but they do a good job.

Ouch, woof.
it was only words....bit of a shock though.
boo pops in between cake trips to the all night supermarket...
"On duty" is perhaps wishful thinking, Anne! As I understand it, mods flit in and out of AB just like the rest of us - they get no recompense for being mods, so there's no rota per se...
We're all omnipresent, it's part of the requirement.
Question Author
now i would have thought there would be some sort of rota, there is no point if all mods are ( on duty) at the same time ?
They have different interests and spend time in different categories.

Why are you so interested in mods?
Anne- the day I moderate to a rota, it becomes a job- that's the day I hand back in my shiny sheriff badge.
Or ask for your first wage-packet... ;-)
I don't even think about the mods except Boo if cake is mentioned ...why should you unless you think you are going to fall foul of the Site Rules...
I wonder how they'd pay us, would it be an hourly rate or piece rate based on number of bannings and suspensions.
Payment would come in the form of something found on my desk once a month. For example, I could offer you a calendar from last year or a Christmas decoration which has yet to find a home.

I prefer the out-of-the-kindness-of-your-heart thing though :)
Pffft at kindness of my heart, I'll have the Christmas dec please :-)

chuck, if it goes on the number of bannings/suspensions i dont think you^d get paid very much, do you ? :)
