Don't be daft how can you hope that he is jailed, and possibly killed. Isn't he a legitimate hunter. That is totally wrong thinking. I abhor hunting of any kind by the way, but to say that it's his penance is just absurd.

I never said I hope he is jailed or killed.... but arguably his greed and career choice has placed him in a very tricky position.. and the law doesnt work in Africa like it does here!
Corruption is rife - and someone will be paying the cops to pin it on this chap! Bet he wishes he'd opted for a safer career somewhere else now!

he wouldn't necessarily have made the big bucks for himself; African governments sometimes sell expensive licences to hunters to run this sort of outfit, and sometimes use the profits to manage wildlife (which occasionally needs culling). I don't know how far that applies to the CAR.

It's amazing, there are some that would be totally against the return of the death penalty for child killers, but they don't seem to be against the death penalty being handed out to a fellow human-being, who's job involves the killing of wild animals.
