The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

But... having said that (and acted upon it) we still cherish, in one form or another, all that came from Mother England... (Now to attend the 1 1/2 inch rib eyes and medium baker potatoes for the grill later...)

Weather is horrible here in the intermountain west, jno... been 90 to 96 degrees F for about a week with high humidity and no wind. We're wondering what we did to anger the mountain gods! We could use some of the rain I see you're having. Some crops are in trouble already...

Boo... Boo... we've had our infestation of hydrophobia here recently... had a skunk come around the corner of the barn this morning... wild look in his eye, foaming at the mouth... staggering... I was really alarmed until I found that the jar of the vile semi-fluid I had cast into the river in our back yard over a year ago had suddenly returned. Inspected the interior of the barn and sure enough... there it lay. Nothing could destroy it and not fit for man nor beast. Poor skunk... terrible, lingering death by Marmite!

Here's me trying to be neighborly to our former masters from across the wide Atlantic and what do I get in return... Boo[i... a Marmite connoisseur ( from the quiet English village of Yuck, I imagine) and [i]Cognoscente] reminding me of that dark day... Oh! the pain of it... Pardon the emotion...
Blame the jet stream for the weather, Clanad. We are on the 'wrong side' of it, and getting the wettest Summer since records began, whilst large parts of the US are unusually hot and dry.
