Here we have yet another teenage killing, this time we see a 15 year old girl brutally kill a 16 year old girl with ' A HAIR COMB' which we are told are now a 'fashion accessories'?????????????

This murder was simply over a text message and boys, and now yet another two young lives have been destroyed, one forever, and the other will have this young death hanging over her for all her life.

Of course, it could just be that the reason we read about this one is that it is unusual enough to be worth reporting nationally. What statistics are there to show whether or not homicides by juveniles have become more frequent in recent years or over the past decades?

This mother of a murdered teenager also though that violence was getting out of hand back in 2010.

That may well be, but this question is about a Black on Black killing, or didn't you care to acknowledge that fact for some reason?

i hadn't thought so much about the fact both girls being black, just that one is dead, age 16, whilst another aged 15 has gone to prison for a minimum of ten years, could be longer, but with good behaviour might be less. Perhaps no jail sentence will make up for the loss of a child, but i do know this, had it been my daughter that was murdered, i would want the person who did it to go to prison for life, no parole. It might make some, even one person think before doing something so vile.
As to the fact that the girl had a terrible upbringing, well so do many, so let's not use that as an excuse.
