I can't see what the author of the Telegraph article is getting his knickers in a twist about. It doesn't look any better or worse than any of these other hidden camera things like the Dom Joly ones for example.

I watched it, I think it was on three or four nights running, and it just wasn't funny. It was boring. I don't think anyone has ever been able to make a programme like this funny, apart from Candid Camera, but maybe that's because I was a little child when I watched that

Never seen it before watching that clip, and the first thing that springs to mind is - how very weird. Definitely a strange sort of 'comedy'. :o(
