His last tour of duty was cut short because the news blackout was broken by the foreign press.
Why is his second tour now so widely publicised?

// MoD sources said the Ministry had decided on the change of tack because the Prince's role this time around is markedly different from his tour of 2007-2008. Back then, as an infantry soldier, there were fears that if the Taliban knew of his presence it would put his comrades at greater risk than usual, because insurgents would concentrate their efforts on trying to kill or capture such a prized target. //

I would send all his family out there to do their bit if I had my way.
I have no time for them. During the whole jubilee thing in June I chose to go on a course to avoid a lot of it.
As for 'Harry the stripper', there will probably be as many soldiers guarding him as there are doing everything else. You and I will see more action playing Call Of Duty on the ps3 than he will in real life.

[It's just a publicity stunt to put Harry back in the good books].
I didn't realise that he was in the 'bad books'. Seems to me that the majority of people, including me, think that he did nothing wrong in Vegas. I get the feeling that most who complained about his behaviour are Daily Mail reader types, who probably have secret dungeons of leather etc and frequent swinger parties.

Hang on, single man, single army officer, on a pre-roulement leave, in a private room - who cares???? As to his duties on this tour, as he'll be flying an apache helicopter, as is his job, then he'll be based in Camp Bastion, and as such cannot hire a passing "lady" to play an "alternative" version of pool with, so I say it's another non story again from the DM. But their readers will buy anything, as long as it doesn't clash with the views!
