What delay, other than the suspect not giving up the location of the child? From what I've seen on TV etc, the community and the Police have made a lot of progress in a relatively short space of time.

I am up to date with the questioning of a suspect - does it take nearly 2 days before he starts blubbing.

They have a suspect. Whether he knows her whereabouts or not is conjecture.

They are stepping up the search.

What more can they do ?

Simon Harwood was a uniformed police officer not someone who would be interrogating suspects.

They described the vehicle the suspected abductor used as pale gray or blue, yet the LandRover belonging to Bridge I would call dark blue.

There is not "so much delay". The police are doing everything they can. They've arrested someone who may or may not be involved. They are searching the area using all the man power they've got and having drafted in additional man power. They've put out public appeals and erected road blocks. What else, precisely, are they meant to do?
