I was hoping, (stupidly) that some last minute flights might be cheaper on a Saturday, but when I saw Em's post, I thought, yep, tonight would be better.
thanks alba, you could be right, i didnt read the article just saw the headlines, probably as i was passing newsagents or on the metro.

If hes exhausted all appeals then how can they keep appealing? maybe he will fake an heart attack and be too ill to be moved or something
Just got 2 words for him - HOOK OFF
Haven't they started pleading about his mental health?
He's just mental.
LOL

dont really know much about the case as i havent followed it but i have helped people with deportation orders and know quite a few more and even after papers have been signed its not always easy to get shut
The BBC reported that the judge said that such cases should be dealt with in months, not years, but, more tellingly, complained about the number of legal points raised. That's a criticism of the lawyers. Their duty is to do their best for the client, but it does not involve arguing fanciful points of law at every opportunity; that this extends the proceedings, at great financial benefit to the lawyers, is not supposed to be justification for doing it.
Albs -there's hook all wrong with him just sh!t scared
if he goes to America they are never going to let him go, that is why he has held out here for so long.
If he's as fragile in his mental health as his lawyers suggest I hope he forgets which hand to use when scratching his nose.
you mean america or here wont let him go em?
pdust - USA

someone was not looking at that headline properly,

Abu Hamza to be extradited within days after final appeal fails
Abu Hamza and four other terror suspects will be extradited to the US "immediately" after their last-ditch appeals were dismissed out of hand by senior judges.
He should be boarding a plane at Heathrow.
no they should go from some military airfield, that way he has no chance of escape
thanks em... who didnt read properly, lol if you mean me i havent read anything .... tbh thought just cos the papers say that its not forced to happen

and shouldnt someone should go with him if its not a direct flight ..you know like an escort...

sorry for all the questions, they arent really directed at you em, im just thinking aloud
that is the bit i meant,

after their last-ditch appeals were dismissed out of hand by senior judges
taken from the BBC news website

//1608: The BBC understands two US civilian jets - one of which is registered to the US Department of Justice - are on the tarmac at an air base in eastern England//
"and what happens if something happens to him in USA, will they say i told you so? "

@em10

who cares what happens to him, they can say what they like
i know, and i don't care what happens to him and his ilk, i was referring to the fact that if he is extradited and something happens en route or once in America will his followers see this as just cause to riot here. By the way it's not over as there is talk of his having to have a brain scan to see if he is fit to travel. what a slippery bstard
This man has effectively been a gravy train for the legal profession and he is a living monument to the stupidity and weakness of our political so called leaders. No other nation on earth would have allowed him to stay and take the pi**, he should have been sent to Hell or wherever he is destined to go and let him appeal from there.
