Sorry-I have to disagree-most homeless are where they are because of choices they've made. But that does not mean we should turn our backs on them-every one deserves a chance to turn their lives around.

Where does it say she is an ex-pat...I thought she travelled back and forth*at the time*-but has been resident in the UK since.

So we have two very stupid British grandmothers here. One who has given her money away to a much younger foreigner and the other who has got involved in carrying drugs. One will pay with loss of her house and family and the other with her life. Will other people read and learn? Probably not.

Pasta...that's what it said. She travelled to Turkey every few months. Then when the money from the house sale she went to Turkey and transferred it to him and he did a runner.

In the article it also said that she had 3 jobs, regardless of what she done with the money from those jobs we can assume she was paying tax and NI. Another case of Tambo not reading the article.
