A specious argument; I am male and have no inclination to be otherwise. If health is a combination of physical, mental/emotional well-being, then this sad girl is unhealthy. There has to be some physiological reason for her condition, and messing about with her body sounds barbarous to my way of thinking. Perhaps her abnormality may be to do with a hormone imbalance.

I hear what you are saying Jack, but using non-medical terms like " a woman trapped in a mans body" is too dismissive and sounds as though it is the 'answer'. As I have said above, I think there has to be a better explanation WHY she is so.

I'm not sure of the depth or nature of any research into this phenomenon, however, there seems to be broad consensus that it happens at the developmental stage and as a consequence is difficult to 'right'.

The modern approach is to re-align the body. Who knows what may be possible in the future?

There are studies re genes related to being transgender. Certainly not every thing in life is as simple XY or XX, you can have mutations of these genes which does have implications on whether you're bottom line male or female.If Lazy Gun is about then I'm sure he can make my ramblings make more sense, I have a very basic understanding of it from my time working in Andrology. It's very interesting but must be heart breaking if you feel trapped in the wrong body.

It's terribly complicated but massively easy to google information about it, there's been brain studies, genetic studies etc.

Well.....i am sure Geneticists will bring me up to date here..........

A man's body with a woman "trapped inside".........this man will be Barr neg ( sex determination for males) he will have male genitalia with no sign of female organs...these will be determined medically and the only evidence to suggest that he is not a male.....is because he tells us so....he feels like a woman ..whatever that feels like.

Yes, there are many genetic abnormalities but all the ones that i know manifest themselves in some physical way....unless i am well behind the times. ...as may well be.

So, it is HIS word......no other evidence.

Gender Identity Disorder is another term for Gender Dysphoria, which describes the symptoms experienced by transgender people due to not identifying with the gender they are assigned at birth. There is no cure for gender dysphoria - treatment is provided by gender identity clinics and are aimed at reducing the symptoms.

Chris Wilson is a transgender man (a man who was assumed to be a woman when born) and should be protected under the Equality Act 2010 by the Gender Reassignment characteristic and under the Gender Recognition Act 2004. By law, he is not "pretending" to be a man but IS a man.

Chris Wilson obviously had not updated his passport to reflect his current gender when these women saw it, which explains why they think they were "duped into having intimate contact with a woman". Chris Wilson has acknowledged that he is a transgender man in court - something which should bear no relevance within the case, but appears to be the entire basis for this horrendously transphobic case.
