surely that could be a health risk in its own right? My daughter had to have hers reduced due to the weight causing back problems (Ironically one of my other daughters is flat a pancake!)

As pointed out down the bottom of the page by a contributer (assuming Sun readers ever manage more than 200 words)
This is normally done in the case of breast asymmetry - which of course is cosmetic.
What do we think of the NHS paying for corrections in such cases where someone has significant asymmetry
What about facial reconstruction where there has been damage?
Cosmetic doesn't always mean vanity

yes you are quite right jake. I can go with fixing the lop sidedness and indeed reconstructive surgery but for pure vanity they can pay for their own. Even some of the psychological cases are worth evaluating but "I wanne be the next katie price" isn't a good enough reason. Besides I think in this case the boat will need a lot more work than the thrupneys!
I think em you're falling into the trap of taking the Sun's journalism at face value.
Before I decided about a particular case like this I think I'd want to hear from the Doctors that authorised it.
Remember this woman is getting paid for her story and without a doubt has been told what the story is they want to write.

Personally I thought her eyebrows were a bit overdone

You can get cosmetic surgery on the NHS if you can persuade your GP you are suffering psychological distress without it.
I am surprised she has co operated with the media on this one.
I note photos, skimpy photies, baaaaarp ! Hooting photos
all of which could not be done without her help.
