Obviously being a male I cannot speak from a females/mothers point of view, but as a male/father/grandfather/great grandfather, I would risk my very life, in my quest to protect my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I don't think it's in a Labour party manifesto to set fire to your house and kill your children.
Some people could be offended by the implication that if the Philpotts had voted Conservative they would have somehow been magiced into model ctizens or that Labour voters all live in social housing and have the morals of Mick Phillpot.
