In this case she has not killed anyone, although I Know that drugs kill, people have a choice whether to take them or not. No she should not be executed. In this country with our laws she would probably get a life sentence and be released in 10 years. Life should mean life.
I don't agree with the death penalty wherever it is upheld.
I have always been somewhat puzzled by the countries that practise legal murder, as most of them also pretend to be terribly religious. For example, the USA apparently believe in the literal truth of the Bible, including upholding that the earth is only about 6000 years old, but then manage to send so very many people to the gas chamber or electric chair each year. most of them black. As an atheist, of course I can make my own mind up about issues rather than relying on mysterious writings but if they are such good Christians, why are they so keen on killing people.
This retched woman in Thailand has broken the law but why do they have to kill her ?

Should she face the firing squad ? Depends on what is meant by the question. Certainly there is difficulty in suggesting one country try to tell another how to run their affairs. From that viewpoint her situation is grim indeed. But if asking whether a death penalty is a morally correct course of action then in my opinion, no. No one should face the State taking away their life. It degrades all concerned. making the State no better than the criminals it deals with.
As for the drug industry, I don't see the justification in the calls for reprisal against the suppliers. Those who opt to take drugs do so of their own free will, no one forced them to start. I think the outrage is more to do with looking for an easy answer, and coming down heavily on the supply side seems to be favourite.
