Have recent days shown just what a cesspit these sites are? If I was a member I would have left in disgust. At least on AB we have for the most part tried to be constructive.

it would depend on who your friends were on there i suppose (or who you folollowed re twitter) if you are the sort to have friends who would be saying cesspitty things, then perhaps you need to blame your friends rather than the sites?

and if one of your friends says something you don't like, you have the ability to either stop seeing anything from them, unfriend them or stop following them. or simply enter into a discussion like an adult. Most of my friends on FB would be up to having their views challanged i think

I suggest we ban all cars.

I don't do Twitter, Facebook and any of the others but would they be "cesspits" if they were full of wonderful praise for a woman who is being compared to Mother Teresa ?

Why can't we realise that Thatcher was hated by millions of people all over Britain ?
