Twitter is ungoverned, so you can say what you want. Then if its judged to be illegal or defamatory, you could face charges or be sued under the libel laws.

I am not a user of any of these new social media thingys but I can't see that it would be any different if he were to say this on TV or the radio. I'm sure that our media outlets wouldn't let him say anything like this, as the law would come down on them like a ton of bricks. Incitement to hatred is against the law in any civilised country.

There are lots of ignorant, stupid people in the world but they don't have any right to a voice if they abuse the laws of decency.
