It's now disappeared.
Disappeared from the main page but article is still up. Another tragic case.
Man A and Man B have not yet been charged. Police are still investigating. Perhaps we will get a report when there is a clearer picture of what occurred.

//The murdermap project is dedicated to covering every single case of murder and manslaughter in London from crime to conviction.//c

And are you intending to post everytime one happens?

Because at current rates that'll be every 4 days which although less boring that every other day (which it would have been in 1990) it's still going to be pretty tedious and rather misleading

Or is that the point?
"It's now disappeared."

I can still see it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-22328824

Lots of murders happen in London every year - far more than are reported by the press. Plus newspapers (and most of their readers) tend to get a little bored of murder stories, so they move on to focus on other things for a while and then come back to it.

Anyway, there's always a large number of murders that don't get national coverage.

"Murder in Eltham
Posted on: Saturday, April 27, 2013

A 48 year-old man has been stabbed to death in Eltham, southeast London.

Shaun Hayes was atacked in Eltham Green Road at around 1.40am on Saturday 27 April.

Detectives arrested a 52 year-old man on suspicion of murder.

It has been reported by the Sun newspaper that the suspect and the victim were brothers. "

This is copied from your post AOG. Is The Sun not part of the national press?
I keep forgetting everything revolves around London.
no it doesn't, but reckon we have more crime here than the rest of the UK, at least it seems that way to me...
No, Glasgow's worse. And that's much better than an awful lot of other places:

"Middle- aged man stabs younger brother to death after funeral" Now, you must admit, that allegation has a certain something which makes it particular interesting and news- worthy. Why a funeral? What motive? Why the animosity to his own brother at his time of life; what took so long ?

Aog, do you want all murders reported in the national press? If not, which ones would you choose? Only those with knives as the weapons? Only those with shooting? Only those in London? Only those black on black? Only those from some of those categories?
