Yes, Zeuhl, it's unlikely that anyone will be prosecuted for blasphemy, whenever it was that they blasphemed. But there must have been temporary laws, such as laws in the War about hoarding and breach of rationing regulations and later ones about petrol rationing in the oil crises, for breach of which people were prosecuted notwithstanding that there was no such offence by the time of the prosecution or arrest. And our taxation laws change every year, so they may produce similar cases.

methyl, so if someone had abused, assaulted you years ago, and you reported it at the time, but no one believed you, wouldn't you be glad if they were brought to justice even if it was 40 years later, because i know i would.
Because the one thing we do know those who abuse rarely do it once, and there are endless victims, shattered lives, from child rape victims who spend a lifetime trying to comes to term with it, and many never do.
I couldn't care less if he is an 83 year granddad or a 40 year old bachelor, abuse is abuse in anyone's language. And those caught doing it should be prosecuted.
Because the one thing we do know those who abuse rarely do it once, and there are endless victims, shattered lives, from child rape victims who spend a lifetime trying to comes to term with it, and many never do.
