I saw something on twitter about three hours ago on this but I thought it was a joke (because of the way it was written). Sounds horrendous.

Also can't believe the idiots trying to get into the camera shot while they are trying to report from near where it happened. Have a bit of respect!

Just the thought of it (though I'd rather not think), probably my own horror more than anything.

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised these days though I hope I never become immune to feeling horrified when I hear about something like this.

Well, they've apparently both been shot and will hopefully get long sentences once we know who did it. The reports coming through now suggest that it won't be too hard to identify them.

Now isn't the time to revert to making political arguments. A man has died and my sympathies go out to his family and friends.

At the risk of being accused of contradition, it's exactly the time to make political argument. This isn't a tragic accident. It's barbaric slaughter in support of a cause. People who carry out terrorist attacks against our people on our soil are our enemies, and if we fail to acknowledge that we're stupid.
