Is enough being done to protect the young girls - these men exploited girls as young as 11?

Unbelievable!

I get "invalid link" when attempting to access your ref, sir.prize - not sure why.

Good that another bunch have been put away, Probably not enough is being done to protect youngsters, but recent events mean a greater focus and a greater awareness so hopefully things might get better....
not enough is being done to protect young people, especially young girls, i am glad they have gone to jail, but how many more of these cases will we see
i watched a very sad documentary the other day about young people in care, their lives seem blighted almost from the start.
There's always been people trafficking - slavery we used to call it!

It's not just here either - look at that Cleveland case and before that the Austrian guy and that's just the extreme high profile cases.

The fact that we are seeing an increased number of these prosecutions is in my mind good news - probably indicative of more effort being made to find these cases, more reports being taken seriously.

And the more this happens the more people will think there is good reason to come forward with suspicions and that they'll be acted upon and not just sent away as being silly.

Worth remebering when we're seeing all the bad press that the Police have been picking up for their misdeeds in undercover malpractice that they're making good progress in this area
It's probably fair to say of the great majority of children in care that their lives were blighted from the minute they were born.
I have no answers. It seems very sad that on top of all their other problems they find themselves the targets of abusers.
Nah, the sentences are definitely not long enough ! Bring back the noose is what I say; it's the only language them Asians understand.

There is always a gang - 7 to 10 men. Telford, Oxford, Rotherham, Bradford, Rochdale etc, etc.

Could it be a racial issue?
To be clear; When you say "another gang of Oxford monsters" - These are a different bunch to the one in the papers not that long ago? This is a second ring based in Oxford?
it isn't good news for the girls though is it, they might be catching these cretins, but they just keep crawling out of the woodwork.
I wonder what would happen if the table was revered, Whites pulling the black teenagers?
LG - Yes the other ones were sentenced in May
Question Author
Yes LazyGun, this is a second gang from Oxford.
Exactly the same as happened here, TWR, except that prosecutions of such offences would not be delayed or avoided because of racial sensitivity, as seems to have happened in Rochdale, until, interestingly enough, the new chief CPS prosecutor was himself a Muslim of Asian descent.
Sir.prize - No it's a religious and cultural issue. The only racial aspect is that they consider white girls as lower than animals.

Castration could be the cure.
//I wonder what would happen if the table was revered, Whites pulling the black teenagers? //

Dont understsnd your question - please clarify
not sure i understand that either, these blokes weren't pulling the girls, as in dating, they were grooming and sexually abusing them. If white men are doing the same to asian, black girls, they should be caught, and sent to prison.
TWR

You asked:

I wonder what would happen if the table was revered, Whites pulling the black teenagers?

That wouldn't be a reversal. It would be a reversal if it were a white gang targeting girls of Pakistani descent. It should be noted that the overwhelming majority of those convicted in recent cases have been from Pakistan, or been 2G Pakistanis. Clouds the issue to refer to them as Asians or Muslim.

With regard to what would happen? It would be reported as a racial issue. Definitely...and that's how these cases have been treated. The fact that they picked on white girls in care is key to why these crimes happened.
is doesn't cloud the issue, they are majority Muslim, no?
