What Do You Think Channel 4

I'm curious as to why they are doing this. I would imagine that most Muslims would already have something in place and would also presume judging by some of the comments (Yes I know it's the Mail but their readers are viewers too)
that this will alienate some.
So I can only see a lose/lose situation here.
Any thoughts?

the ones i have come across in more recent times, have been not just workshy but criminals, as already mentioned. Those i once worked with were not like that... hardworking, fitted in, you get the picture.

i have been looking at any number of websites, some totally biased, trying to get an accurate picture is not easy, but most suggest there are high rates of unemployment - workshy, can't speak the language, don't know, but you can look for yourself.

Em for the avoidance of any misunderstanding, can you clarify what you meant by "some of our local Muslims are not workshy they keep lots of girls in employment" and

It will remind me of when I Worked in Saudi Arabia, I was there for 3 Ramadans.
The Mosques have huge loudspeakers and 1,000 watt amplifiers for the call to prayer, at dawn every day of the year !.

Don`t you just love it when you`re in a Muslim country and you`re woken up by the call to prayer from the mosque? After a while you don`t notice it anymore. I can`t see the point of channel 4 portraying it apart from the fact that they are trying to appear PC

A bit off topic, but to sit at a café in Jerusalem watching the mumbling orthodox Jews in their finest clothes wending their way to the Western Wall, the throng of Christians singing hymns, and bearing a large wooden cross on their shoulders en route to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the muezzin calling the faithful to prayer from the top of an adjacent minaret, has to be one of the oddest 'religious' experiences on the planet. Having often witnessed this simultaneous concoction of performances by people who detest one another, but who nevertheless think that the same God deems each of them right in their beliefs, I find it utterly impossible to avoid concluding that they’re all potty!
