I've often wondered the very same thing. I mean, if someone had an inclination to do something so appalling, how would they even begin to broach their interest with another human being?

I also did not know what it meant. I cannot read the link, I gather it is not too nice, and it would be on my mind for ages. I just do not understand anyone who does evil and sexual things to a child.

hc4361, my comment was to the effect that if he'd resisted an entirely irrelevant political dig, he'd have got more answers to the question he originally posed. He wandered off-topic himself.

As to what can be done to stop this happening: where first offenders are concerned, nothing. Which may acount for the small number of posts.

You can't stop this happening unless you can read the future and arrest folk for what they are about to do. Or maybe drug the whole population with soma and create a brave new world.
