Now that all the defence and prosecution has finished, I have not read how the girl in question who was raped etc, came to be in the company of Le Vell.

Was she and her mother a neighbour or known to him in some other way?

jackthehat---No I was not saying she was lying. Nothing in my reply suggested that . Just making an observation.
In a high profile case like this it would be impossible to give any details of the girl involved, without the danger of her being identified. That must be obvious to anyone surely ?

We have discussed this on AB before, but I am not sure why Le Vell is being identified. Whether he is found guilty or not, this case will have ruined him for ever. If he is found guilty, I can see a case for the case to be reported but not until then. It sick and puerile entertainment as far as the Press is concerned. If he wasn't a minor celebrity, it unlikely that we would be aware of it all. Very disturbing.
Has it been reported that she remembers exact dates? She might not, I'd imagine there is more evidence that can't be made public incase it reveals her identity. The abuse has allegedly been going on for years so it shouldn't be surprising if the victim remembers dates of more recent abuse.

The case seems to be going at a rate of knots so hopefully there'll be a verdict shortly.
Does his latest girlfriend have children?
Yes, she does
If he is cleared of the charges, how many people will say, as my late Mother used to say, He got away with it? Whatever the outcome his reputation is in tatters which is wrong if he is deemed innocent. Will the complainant be named if he's found innocent? If not, why not? Her age at the time of the non-offence should then be irrelevant.
He won't be found innocent, zebo. Only not guilty.
Do you think Coronation Street will sack him if he's found 'not guilty'?
reporting restrictions, and anyone publishing the information would be libel i would have thought to severe censure. Children can have good memories especially about bad events, i know i have. not exact dates perhaps, but certainly places and people.
maybe, they sacked the last incumbent when he brought the programme into dispute, not to mention William Roache is still out of the programme i think?
-- answer removed --
William Roache is in the same state of suspension from work as Le Vell - the employers will make a decision when the trial is over.
You clearly have never been a girl that has been abused, Sir.p.
Not at all, sir.prize. Children often don't realise they are being abused when they are very young - it is a state of normality for them.
So she has vivid recollections of being abused by a certain person. Then in later life goes and works in that person's environment. Very strange.

ummmm - you are correct.
Why can't we wait until the Jury has given its verdict ?
My point being that unless it's happened to you then you don't know what's strange.
ummmm - you obviously are extremely observant and your knowledge of such things astounds me.

However you will note I typed 'Merely commenting'. Obviously I am not privy to such goings on
I live in the North West and I have no idea who it is, it's obviously someone who's mother knew where to find Michael Le Vell to verbally accuse him, which I wouldn't know how to do. I hope he is found innocent, not not guilty. Though I don't think the court system allows for that does it?
Tut tut ummmm - ///You clearly have never been a girl that has been abused, Sir.p.///

Clearly you could have checked my gender from my profile before making such an obvious irrelevant comment.

PS: Merely commenting
