That's a surprisingly good article from the Express I must say.

Ultimately UKIP's message reflects the general conservatism of the British public, whereas the Greens seem to go for a more loft progressive angle.

In short, UKIP say: "We Don't Like Change!"

and the Greens say: "Everyone needs to change!"

And the general public roll their eyes at the Greens and find the idea of not changing quite appealing.

The Greens don't seem to attempt to be spreading their message beyond self styled modern and cosmopolitan boroughs...

The UKiP got 3 times as many votes as the Greens at the last election. But the Greens managed to get a seat in Parliament. Suspect UKiP will improve upon that next time.
