She was OTT , as most are who are drunk, however he seemed to have started it and should accept the consequences. If his culture doesn't accept women behaving in this way the he should not have lighted the touch paper.
You can make your point without raising your voice - as i did, and the situation was defused. Verbal violence is never excusable, it can all too often lead to its physical equivalent.

When I was f and blinded at by a woman
my main reaction was - you're not meant to be speaking like that [ what's gone wrong with you ]
I did choke back - I hope you dont speak to your f children like that
as i thought no the last thing I need is the husband to come out and smack me in the much....[ and perhaps followed by the kids]

The Defence Hospital in Birmingham initially had issues with Asians saying to amputees as they were pushes around the corridors - you are going abroad and shooting my brothers.
I wondered if any had replied - give me a gun and I'll shoot a few more....
it was solved somehow.
I can see why she was acquitted - she had not initiatied the exchange
and the 'victim' did kick off with something insulting....
was he the one who complained ?
