Tommy Robinson has quit the EDL and branded his former colleagues 'morons'!

Isn't this something that some of us have been saying for years?

When he was interviewed on BBC's 5 Live radio yesterday, he said he was tired of being associated with "morons" who advocate violence against Muslims.

I am sure our AB is full with people who would love to do the job. But hang on............does that mean they would not be hidden behind the pixels any more.........that seems to be the problem.

It's happened once before - when I read something that Melanie Phillips wrote online, and thought, "Well, that's reasonable".

My GP told me that it was nothing to worry about, but if it happened again, say with Richard Littlejohn, he'd book me in for a cat scan.

By the way - I'm not making a judgement call by calling EDL supporters morons*, just repeating their former leader's sentiments.

There is a video of a very charismatic young man speaking eloquently at an EDL gathering. He is very popular and ABers have posted his video* many many times. He could be the next leader.

I have stopped reading Ms Philips' and Mr Littlejohn's columns - having replaced all my breakfast crockery twice, and having the kitchen window repaired again, I've decided that it would be easier t simply avoid them.

you hide behind your pixels and religion, a bigger apologist for Islam you couldn't wish to find, at least on AB. I very much doubt there is anyone on AB who would take on the role of leader of EDL, and even if they did you wouldn't know, because this is anonymous isn't it, most posts from people on AB about the EDL are negative, that is all i know.

You know what, I'm almost certain I have seen a clip posted on another site where a young Muslim lad is challenged on his views on homosexuality and suffers a massive 'failure of logic' trying to explain himself.

However in terms of sheer comedy value, 'Drunk stupid EDL lad' is the reigning champ.

But as I say, we should leave it along for a while as it's been done to death on AB.
