i don't think that is what he was suggesting for one moment, read it, he is saying however that we rely on the armed services, whether some think so or not. As we do the police, there may be bad apples in both services, but quite frankly the anti police, anti forces stance of some makes me wonder how they would cope if faced with an armed robber, or a man wielding a machete, would they simply go in a dead faint, or call for some much needed back up. Like the coppers.

and before you ask I can't tell you how many muslim ex-servicemen are in prison!

But there were about 600 in the armed forces 2 years ago

sorry i don't like it, tried watching a couple of times. Funnier and cleaner, well sort of, is Father Ted, that has wit, style, and madcap actors, with a star performance by Mrs Doyle

600 hundred out of how many. And that is not a dig, we know from our own history that Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, have fought for this country, which makes it all the more shaming that some of these fanatical young Muslims don't look into their own family history and see if they had not served this country with distinction. They may have done so because of the empire or commonwealth or because we were considered the mother country, it matters not, they served in both world wars, and we were glad they did.

Yes it is a small population but that's not that really so surprising seeing as we've been occupying muslim countries for the last 10 years.

Must say I'm glad to see they were found not guilty of attempted murder of the police officers. The eyewitness accounts I'd heard the day it happened recounted no aggressive actions towards the police - that ran quite counter to the police accounts. It just didn't fit the facts
