I'll try and answer your question, as I directly said I wasn't scared of him.
Put simply, there's always been nutters around. There's always been people who would have me killed, and for all of the extra apocalyptic ideology that the more fanatical Muslims have, when you actually speak to them in reality they're just the same as all the other religiously-deluded nutcases.
The clip you've shown is from a programme about Luton that very seldom gets shown in full. The rest of that programme features the reporter speaking to dozens of Muslims who loathe and despise the fascists she is talking to in that link.
As for living 'side by side'... No, I don't think people with Choudary's ideology will ever live side-by-side with average Britons, because they don't want to. They're too fixated on altering everybody else's lifestyle.
Does that mean I'm quaking in my boots over what Anjem Choudary's next move will be? Nope. I'm used to fanatics in the media railing against my lifestyle and telling me how much they'd like me to die - it's par for the course if you're gay.
Vladimir Putin? He scares me. Choudary's just one of a long line of bigots with small brains and big amibtions. I hate him but I'm not scared of him.
I think if the government pulled funding for the faith schools which turn a blind eye and fail to educate them properly, that would be a tremendous step in the right direction.
