one victim said to be 7 or 8 years old!
He's supposed to be pleading not guilty.
I hope justice is seen to be done!

It can be proved by the victims' accounts. By describing a birth mark or abnormality they shouldn't know about; by remembering a particular phrase or word he used; by describing a room or place they had no good reason to be in.
I just hope he is found guilty if he did in fact do those things; or not guilty if he didn't.
It is hard either way to believe him capable of those things and to believe people lie about those things.

As with all these accusations I'd be much happier if there was a statute of limitations on any civil claims and/or compensation payments for the putative victims, with only the criminal offence being considered after (say) ten years.
At least that way we could be reasonably sure that there were no 'me too' accusers hoping to join in the case for purely financial reasons.
None of which means that the accusations shouldn't be investigated (although I do agree with ymb about the difficulty of substantive proof).

He has a right to have his defence heard.
Indictment means nothing - Rigby's killers were indicted for conspiracy to kill policement and in summing up the judge said there was no evidence they had conspired to do anything.
I thought that was a bit odd I must say - indicted for something there was no evidence of.
