No mention whatsoever about his charity work. He just plays pop music...what extra merit is there in that, that he should deserve a gong ?
He is not making the lame walk or the blind see again...its just poo music for goodness sake !

Sir Marcus Setchell is already a "Sir" so we must presume that he has already been awarded an earlier, very high-ranking gong. I don't suppose that his delivery of little Prince George had anything to do with his new award did it ?
I don't have any problems with people being honoured, who do amazing voluntary work, like the Life Boat chap, or any of the others. But I do have a problem with people getting these useless gongs for just doing their jobs, as we expect them to.
