I have taught many Eastern Europeans English. A word of advice to new ones from the experience of people who are here. It is not just the wages that are high here, the costs are too! Rents, heating, food are a lot more expensive than at home. You will be offered the basic wage, so the only way to live is to crowd into cheap accommodation. It comes a a shock.
I taught some Poles who had 21 people sharing a 3 storey house with no living room (turned into two bedrooms), one kitchen and one bathroom! They were thrilled when the landlord was ordered to put a bathroom on each floor.
They worked two and here jobs a day and had another job for their day off. They were all hoping to make enough money to start up businesses back home. Most went home disillusioned with just a little money.

Ric ror, I don't need to imagine it, I know! I obviously can't speak for every Romanian, your very racist comment suggests you would rather think otherwise.
I actually meant to be sarcastic
Surely all east Europeans come here to beg(aggressively), to commit petty crime and fleece both the nhs and benefit system for all they (and the numerous members of their family) can
Heaven forbid they should come here to contribute to our society
