How is it that some young singer makes the second items on the BBC news? The only people interested in this idiot would be about 14 or under and wouldn't watch the news at all. Another piece of news from the US - a country, most of which, have no idea what the name of our Prime Minister is? Why does the BBC give air time to rubbish like this? considering there was absolutely no mention of the Womens cricket in Australia, who are it seems, are so much better than the mens cricket team who obviously got a mention!!! Rant over for the time being.
well since our news no longer has to fit into the pages of a single daily newspaper and therefore space is no longer limited, there is room for all news, small and large, whether it is of personal interest to you or not
the fact that many people are upset and concerned about JB would imply that it is a newsworthy item.
Ah, bernie, but you need to think you are beyond criticism and to love yourself in show business.Best to hide it though. Ted Ray used to tell of a tenor who sang arias and romantic ballads. One night he played a particularly rowdy hall. Someone threw an egg which hit him right in the middle of the chest. He finished his song and when he walked off he said to the stage manager "They don't like your conductor much, do they?"
If you think that Bruce Forsyth wasn't talented then see the clips of him singing, dancing with one of the great song and dance men, Sammy Davis Jnr, they are a class act. We always watched Sunday Night at the London Palladium, and Bruce was the best host they ever had. He made his name on it, as did Jimmy Tarbuck.
