Presumably the Italian authorities can now seek her extradition.
it doesn't, they won't go to Italy, and won't be extradited.

Does she have to avoid all of the EU countries?

(I can't remember if Interpol still exists: Is it EuroPol now, or something?)

In other words, can she be collared in some other EU country and 'rendered' to the Italians?

I read a few weeks ago that she cannot enter any country that has an extradition treaty with Italy - which, apparently, is just about everywhere. She was bemoaning the fact that she would virtually be a prisoner in her own country. Could have been worse. She could have lived in Lichtenstein or somewhere as small.
some think she is innocent, so should she be a prisoner in her own country, or limited to where she can go?
I await Ms Justice JoggerJayne's verdict, though I think I know what it will be.
"Some think she is innocent."

I don't.

I was thinking the same thing jno.

OMG - Jogger Jayne is going to be on the rampage over this..

She can be extradited from any EU country.....however not yet, as it will go to appeal again (that's what was indicated on the Beeb this morning, whatever the verdict.
neither do i, i was also waiting for JJ>

in this case its guilty, but she won't be extradited, not in a million years.
That woman has always looked sooooo guilty. Face like a slapped arse all the way through the trial, showed no emotion. I sincerely hope she gets her come uppance one way or the other!
I think this thing will keep on being appealed until we're all too old to care.

There was something inconclusive about the evidence, first time around, wasn't there? I'd be interested to learn what new evidence justified this review and you have to wonder why whatever it is didn't emerge in time for the initial trial or the first appeal.

By the way, does the guy they imprisoned get released every time F & S are deemed guilty, on appeal, or are they saying it was a 3-handed effort?

and this in a country where crooks like Berlusconi have made a career of staying out of jail and changed laws to avoid prosecution

I'm sure this verdict is trustworthy.....
justice done...... but one guilty person free to live a long life, at least the kercher family have a verdict.
it's either guilty or not guilty in law.

In Italian law it's guilty, not guilty, guilty.
I'd have thought that would make the Kercher family feel worse, if that's possible.
The US has an extradition treaty with Italy, but I doubt the USA will extradite Ms.Knox anytime soon. Countries are not obliged to automatically extradite - it depends on the various clauses within the treaty, etc.
