ummmm.....'Despite what many on here think prison is no picnic, it's not the holiday camp the media likes to portray'
Maybe not but it's also not the deterrent it should be
Prisoners get far too many 'rights'. Facilities and piviledges should be minimal.
Exercise shouldn't be in a prison gym, it should be out in the prison yard without equipment.
'Holiday camp' items such as games consoles, pool tables etc have no place in prisons

I can not understand why this case has taken this long to come to court! that pratt was seen to do the killing, he was seen by witnesses, the evidence is there, why should it cost thousands to put this case together? In my mind only one thing justifies these types of people, the rope. come on HR Bridgade, Comment on these evil type of scum.
The "eye for an eye" justification for killing innocent people is not just used a defence used by mixed up Nigerians.
After 9/11 the US wanted an "Eye for an Eye" so they invaded Iraq resulting in far more innocent civilians dying than in the US.
Evil religious mantras should not be used by anyone to justify killing, but sadly it still is, from the very top to the very bottom of society.

Do we really have to do the "No! I'm more outraged!" competition thing? We all agree the crime was despicable, and the evidence of their guilt overwhelming.
Personally, to be quite honest, I don't particularly care how comfortable their prisons are, or whether they deserve to be killed or not. I care firstly about whether they will ever be able to harm the public again (which looks unlikely), and secondly whether it is possible that we can learn anything from them that might contribute to preventing other attacks in future.
