Should White Women Be Wary Of Dating Black Men

Just wandering around the Daily Mail website because of a thread posted a few minutes ago, and I came across this story.

Not sure if this is a commonly held belief amongst the general public, or whether the Daily Mail comments section (sort into top rated order) has been infiltrated by a gang of Internet trolls:

Looking at the top rated comments here, should one feel worried about Kelly Brooke' relationship with the (astonishing looking) David McIntosh?

Do people genuinely believe that this is a product of interracial relationships?

AOG and SP ~ I live in a city where about 95% (probably more) are white europeans. So I have no first hand knowledge of interracial domestic abuse. I just refuse to believe that black guys are any more thuggish than white guys.

I sorted them into 'best rated' and I can't see any that mention race. Just that he's a thug, which he is.

That's what I've always believed. I've just done a quick count in my head and I know five mixed race couples (black male, white female), and all have been successful, and from what I can see, happy.

But I'm guessing that may have something to do with the fact that I have never really sought the company of lowlifes.

(Err...lowlives???).

Relieved to hear that the majority of respondents think along the same lines as me.

6 years, 9 months just isn't enough.

If a total stranger had attacked someone and inflicted the same injuries I do feel the sentence would be longer.

Violence is violence, regardless of whether we stick the "domestic" label to it.
