I don't think there is any doubt that the timing of Mr Adams' arrest is politifcal, but that does not detract from the evidence that appears to be available and make an arrest pertinent.

I listened to the son of the mudered lady onm the radio saying that his family are constrained by what they perceive to be the continued threat of revenge murders if they were to speak to the authorities, even though he says he sees the people involved on a regular basis on the streets of his home town.

Now that has to be some wearysome burden to carry.
