Spanish tee vee doesnt spare the gore either

They would televise a scene of a matador being tossed
and then it it werent gory enough or long enough,
compare it to archive clips of other matadores ebing tossed....

Simply because I don't believe that anyone without experience is truly qualified to comment I made a point of seeing a live bullfight - so now I'm qualified to comment. The ceremony is spectacular - a great occasion - but the rest is bloody (and I mean that in the full sense of the word) sickening. Go bulls!

Animal welfare organisations have their work cut out in Espana. Bullfighting is a filthy business.

It's barbaric stuff. You've got to be on the side of the bulls though. They're never the ones that start the fight. They're just minding their own business when suddenly they get shoved into a ring with people trying to stab things into them.

I can't feel any any sympathy with a matador that gets a bull's horn in his bollux. None whatsoever.

I watched a programme about bullfighting, it said the bull is stabbed several times to weaken it before it goes into the ring. Absolutely disgusting. I will never understand how anybody can call this entertainment.

yup Loodie - the bull tend to gore the femoral area,
and it is the femoral artery injury that gets them
