Actually looks to be quite a decent way of doing things, and isn't all that complicated really.

Don't forget though that this is the country that rejected the AV voting system largely because it was "too complicated" so this is liable to cause meltdown in our little grey cells:-)

D'Hondt's also used in N Ireland - I think to allocate government ministers by Party
