didn't realise that Klitschko had stood aside -why was that ichkeria?

I'm not too sure why Klitschko stood aside humbersloop. Originally he said he was going to stand, but some while ago he declared his support for Poroshenko and decided to stand for Mayor of Kyiv instead. Personally I was sorry: Klitschko is, despite appearance, a highly intelligent guy (top chess player as well) and he would have broken the mould of oligarch-turned-politician. Poroshenko is, like a lot of Ukrainian politicians, well-travelled: he seems to have belonged to just about every political party going (parties in Ukraine are based more on personalities than principles anyway)
