Should The Queen Abdicate Now- Thinking About This After Carlos Spain

I was wondering what people think. Should the Queen abdicate and give her role to Charles. IF she lives to be the same age as her mum Prince Charles would be 89 when he takes over the throne. She has done a good job but surely it is time she went now what do people think?

What being an adulterer or adulteress has anything to do with how they would fail in their need to represent State of the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth or any other state or country for that matter, I just can not comprehend.

There have been many compulsive adulterers throughout the ages that have managed to combine their romantic aspirations and their duties without any difficulties, besides Charles is no longer an adulterer since his ex wife is now deceased.

others have pointed out on this thread that she has no political power, thus she would be quite unable to do this, even if she actually believed it was right. This is a job for parliament, and at the moment I haven't noticed any prominent political party canvassing on the republicanism platform. there must be some, but their present invisibility kind of shows how much support they'd likely get at an election.

Both Camilla and Charles just happened to be in unhappy marriages, and there are plenty of them around today.

They now seem a happily married couple, who I am sure will do an excellent job when the time comes.

I feel sure, mushroom, that should the privileged opt to stop taking the public purse, and demand from their family that they do not step in to continue the farce, it would allow parliament to debate the issue and do the right thing.
